She also developed and directed the Athletic Training facilities at Menlo School and College for seven years, where she worked with athletes from 54 different athletic teams. Robin spent three summers working as an athletic trainer for the US Olympic Training Committee, supporting national and Olympic swimmers, divers, and water polo players, as well as judo, hockey and other athletes. Since 2005 Robin has been studying principles of rehabilitation for dancers and recently participated in the Clinical Management Course at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at NYU School of Medicine.

Robin opened Tobias Physical Therapy in 1985 in order to provide an alternative to the large clinic, high-volume style of care for patients in need of physical therapy services. Her singular focus is the development and maintenance of well-being for the people who come to Tobias Physical Therapy. She is known to be an excellent source of referrals to other highly skilled specialists in this community. In developing a Wellness Program at TPT, Robin returns to her initial commitment after her PT training to helping people stay healthy through their years while working toward their own personal goals related to fitness, travel, and enjoyment of life.

In her free time Robin enjoys running, walking, knitting, watercolor painting, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

What they Say

"You could not find better PTs than those at Tobias Physical Therapy. After trying many different physical therapy offices in the Bay Area and other parts of the United States I finally found the very best. The physical therapists are fantastic. They are knowledgeable, thorough, supportive, thoughtful in their evaluations, not rushed and very nice to work with."
